We are hiring BSc nurses to work for the Ministry of Health Oman and to increase your chances of success, we have established the Oman Nurses Academy.
We are pleased to invite you to join the current intake of the Oman Nurses Academy. Our academy is specifically designed to equip internationally trained and qualified nurses with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully pass the Oman Pearson VUE and Oman Viva exams.
Preliminary Eligibility Criteria for Nurses:
1. Experience Requirement for
Nurses: 3 years post-graduation (Nursing Experience gathered post-Diploma/RN will be counted/accepted towards the required 3 years experience)
2. Age: Not more than 40 years
3. Must have BSc in Nursing (Diploma or RN is not acceptable)
4. Must be negative to HIV, Hepatitis B or C and free from TB (Both Clinical and with laboratory confirmation)
5. Must not have any prior criminal convictions

What the Academy Is

DISQUALIFYING CRITERIA:
Please note that the following candidates are not eligible to join the academy:
1. Individuals over 40 years of age..
2. Nurses with only RN qualification (NB: Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) is required)..
3. Nurses with less than 3 years of professional work experience..
4. Those with any of the following health conditions: HIV, Hepatitis B or C, or Tuberculosis..
5. Nurses who obtained their nursing certificates from China, Ukraine, or Russia.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER
The Oman recruitment pathway is strictly subject to the terms and duration of our two-year recruitment contract with the Ministry.
As a result, individuals who join later in the process or fail to complete the required steps before the contract’s expiration may not be eligible for employment opportunities. Furthermore, this recruitment process is competitive, as candidates are selected from a pool of registered professionals participating in the program.
While our contract remains in effect, we will continue to assess and nominate candidates from our registered pool for Ministry consideration. However, as the contract approaches its expiration, and if renewal is uncertain, we will discontinue onboarding new applicants.
During the contract period, the number of candidates available for Ministry interviews may vary. To meet recruitment demands, we must maintain a pool of registered candidates larger than the number required for monthly selections.
In light of these conditions, the agency bears no responsibility for the outcome of any individual recruitment process beyond the validity of our contract.
It is the sole responsibility of each candidate to complete their application process in a timely manner and within the contract’s validity period, in accordance with the agency’s guidelines.
The agency shall not be held liable for candidates who are unable to complete their process within the specified timeframe.
